How to Change Your WordPress Admin Username | CodexEdu
In this video tutorial, I am showing with you how to change the WordPress admin username to make it more secure for your WordPress website. 
 Steps to follow: 
 =============== 
1) You need to log in your cPanel/Hosting 
2) Click on File Manager for checking the Database name. 
3) Then Go to your #domain/ #subdomain directory. 
4) and then you will see "wp-config.php", and just you can view this file for checking the database name. 
5) Copy the database name. 
6) Now back to cPanel and find the #phpMyAdmin 
7) Then click the #phpMyAdmin and It will redirect to the new tab and will open the Database. 
8) and find the database name click "ctrl+F" and paste the copied database name. 
9) then open the table "wp_users" where (wp_ is the #prefix) and the users are the table name. 
10) then click the wp_users and will open the table data. 
11) Now you can click the EDIT option and you will see the "admin_login" on the left side and the name will be shown on the right side. 
12) then simply remove the name and write the name which do you want and then click the GO button on the bottom right side. 
13) after you will receive the successful updation message on the top screen. 
14) and finally, you got the new name in the backend. This is the process to change the username of the #WordPress admin.
